The Capable Gardener's Shed
The Capable Gardener's shop in a shed is at Kirkharle Courtyard, in Northumberland. It sells locally grown plants, heritage seeds and handpicked, UK made, tools and gardening accessories. The range includes sustainably sourced turned oak tools from Northumberland and beautifully made aprons exclusive to the shed. All chosen by a gardener for gardeners.
The Shed is open weekends April to September , and the plants always available during the summer using an honesty box.

National Garden Scheme
The Capable Gardener is opening her own garden on the 19th August 2012 for the National Garden Scheme. Artist Bridget Jones will be showing work in the studio. Tea and cakes will be available.
Scarf
These scarves are individually designed by a textile artists in West Yorkshire. They are hand-framed in mixed fibres. They are a generous 1.8 metres long and double thickness. They are £45 each.
Bag
This shoulder bag has developed from our skirt pocket to add colour to your outfit.
It comes in saffron and donkey brown corduroy. It is fully lined and a great buy at £16.50.
The Capable Gardener's Skirt
This fabulous six panel A-line skirt is perfect for walking, sightseeing or any occasion of your choice. It has a detachable pocket for your map, your specs, your car keys or anything else!

Our new range of outdoor clothing has now arrived! All made in the UK, these beautiful garments are easy to wear and very flattering. Stylish and wash really well.
Garden aprons designed for wearabilty with an eye to style. They are made from either sanded cotton twill or corduroy in anthracite/petrol blue/donkey brown.
