The Capable Gardener's Shed




The Capable Gardener's shop in a shed is at Kirkharle Courtyard, in Northumberland. It sells locally grown plants, heritage seeds and handpicked, UK made, tools and gardening accessories. The range includes sustainably sourced turned oak tools from Northumberland and beautifully made aprons exclusive to the shed. All chosen by a gardener for gardeners.



The Shed is open weekends April to September , and the plants always available during the summer using an honesty box.

Garden Clothes

Our new range of outdoor clothing has now arrived! All made in the UK, these beautiful garments are easy to wear and very flattering. Stylish and wash really well.



Garden aprons designed for wearabilty with an eye to style. They are made from either sanded cotton twill or corduroy in anthracite/petrol blue/donkey brown. The over the shoulder straps don't slip off and the back fastens with a button. There is a large useable pocket at the front. They come in three sizes small, medium and large. £32 each
